The room was ok but it had someone's sticker on the bathroom door jam, some of the ceiling tiles were not laying flat (that's kinda creepy) the pool was not usable it was so green that you could not see the bottom, It needed to be covered. Short staffed i guess so our room was not ready at check in time.

This hotel is the least expensive and closest to SML. There are many other places around the lake but none are as inexpensive as the Days Inn Bedford. My room was very clean and comfortable and the outdoor pooI is open during the summer. We stayed Friday and Saturday nites and heard no outside noise at all. This property has Direct TV with a large package of channels that includes movie channels. As of Sept 2026, they are remodeling. Still open though and rates are unbeatable.

Very outdated rooms. The swimming pool was not available. Travelers need to be told/advised, including on the websites. This was one of the reasons I booked this facility.

The staff was great, working with what they have at the time. This place is ok for one or two nights in that area. It’s not much to choose from in Bedford. It really needs a massive overhaul.

This is the type of motel that homeless people live in. Smelled very mildewy and was very run down but was visually clean. Okay to sleep in for 8 hours, wouldn't linger any longer.

They didn't give me the room that I requested. I can see why it's cheap there because the parking lot needs to be redone. The mini fridge isn't good. There was no comforter or top blanket on the beds. And the only thing good was the water pressure in the ahower

Not a thing I 1st I sat on the bed it flipped me out onto floor 2nd went to cut on TV I had to pull out stand to plug it in and unplug the refrigerator 2nd black hair every where in shower then water wouldn't drain 3rd cigarette buts on floor pool was green and wasn't operating got moved to another room was a little better but not much 2 of the staff members where very helpful the receptionist and the little old housekeeper oh and don't forget all of the used bars of soap on top of shower so no don't stay here

just needed a quick rest in the middle of our trip to SC. for 60 bucks it was decent but almost none of the outlets worked so it was a struggle to charge anything. me and wife reserved a queen bed but got 2 twins. huge amount of bugs everywhere on the walls outside but hey maybe that’s just virginia idk. wasn’t there forever but it wasn’t enjoyable. breakfast was solid and staff was nice.

Reserved a king room, when checked in we were told the kings were given away and the only thing they had available was two double beds. When we asked the man at the front desk what the purpose of a reservation was he told us it was a recommendation not a guarantee, when we explained we paid more he said he did t know what to tell us. We asked about a manager and he said they would be there the next day between 10-2. We were traveling, there were no other options. We stayed. We had to be out the next morning by 5;30 am since we had to be somewhere. Will never stay there again. It was very sketchy, unkept and out dated.

Is was just okay, more than less just a place for catching some Zzz's .. Room had a stale odor and the the Continental breakfast was simple cereal and mini muffins and bread . I think if they worked on just them two issues alone it would seem a little greater.

Our stay was terrible at Days Inn Bedford Va. it started with the rooms smelling like it was a smokers lounge. The sink was all chipped and the counter all stained, they never came to clean the rooms or change the towels , lousy breakfast no protein, the pool only opens at 10:00 in the morning, when it is far too hot to sit outside. One umbrella, seats are wire with no cushions. If I had the hotel for free I would not stay there again.

Floor was dirty in the room, both beds had sheets with stains on them, blanket on 1 bed had actual holes in it; bathroom had no toilet paper and the hand soap was completely empty. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

To be honest for the price it should be called a motel. My sink leaked so I couldn't use it. Bathroom wasn't cleaned before I arrived. And I was charged twice on a deposit I didn't know about until I got there ( I paid online before arriving). Breakfast was okay but very limited. Overall if you need a place to lay your head for a night it's okay but I wouldn't recommend it.
