「This is an old Naples neighbourhood. From the outside building looks very old and a bit rough typical Naples. Once in the hotel lobby it’s a different planet. Very clean modern new rooms. Especially the host she’s very friendly helpful person who speaks good English. This place is right next to Naples archeological museums and about a 15 mins walk from old town coffee shops. 」

There was a lot of noise from street level which made it difficult to sleep - perhaps better soundproofing would be good. 」

The room had AC that cooled the room, a walk-in shower with nice amenities, a refrigerator and high-quality bed and towel linens. What sets this B&B apart from the rest is the personal attention that Enzo and his family gives to their guests. I look forward to returning to Naples and CasaJammone.」

The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home. We especially loved the rooftop terrace with its breathtaking view of the city and Mount Vesuvius — such a unique highlight! While the rooms themselves are lovely, the biggest perk of La Gemma is the owner, who went above and beyond to give us a good experience. She was a wealth of information in terms of navigating the city, and she bakes home made cakes for breakfast. She even went as far to pack us a bag of breakfast for our early train. 」

The place was renovated recently, nice and clean, the location is convenient, 12 minutes walk to the central train station. There are 2 restaurant/bar downstairs, so it could get noisy at night, but will be quiet after they closed. Will definitely stay here again.」
