Amazing hotel. It is on top of a steep hill, that you have to walk up to reach the hotel if you access Kata beach and surrounds.

Perfect in every category I could not fault this hotel it is highly recommended and I will definitely return. Staff went above and beyond always I returned one day with an injury from outside the resort staff were so concerned and placed a get well soon stick message on my bed little things that leave lasting memories 🙏🙏🙏

The Staff are lovely, and the rooms and pools were very clean. Breakfast buffet was awesome, a lot of options and very good food. Unfortunately the restaurant was otherwise not very good. I found the lunch and dinner options to be bland and often cold. The roof top pool was amazing with a gorgeous view but the swim up bar was terrible, the only part of the hotel with grumpy service and the bartenders had no idea how to make any of the 5 cocktails offered. Don't let this discourage you though, the hotel is very walk-able to restaurants, Kata beach, and the night food market. We had a wonderful stay and would consider going back.

This hotel was picture perfect, it looked exactly like the pictures& the reviews published were spot on. The breakfast buffet was delicious& some hot items changed each day. The variety, service, and taste of breakfast is unlike anything you're Ever experienced. The swim up room was beautiful as well as the entire hotel. The service of cleaning our room was very slow& it wasn't cleaned most days, but it didn't take much away from our stay. The food in general that the hotel serves is delicious. Overall I give this hotel a 10 out of 10. It's also cheaper to book through Expedia

Simply Stunning!

I was a solo traveler and I was there for 2 nights. I had an incredible time. My room was clean, the bed super confortable but the VIEW! I had a sea view and it worth every dime! The infinity pool is great and relaxing. The gym was good,everything i needed. The service was lovely.

Sis Kata was a pleasant surprise. We booked last minute and they were very accommodating. The staff were friendly and bright, and the service was prompt. The property was beautiful, modern and full of lush greenery. The rooms however are on the smaller side and very poor lighting in bath and toilet areas. For three adults it was a tight squeeze. The beds are soft, except for the “pull out” which was very hard on the back. The property offers a beach shuttle which is convenient, except when it forgets to pick you up from the beach. Luckily it’s just a 10 min walk UP A STEEP HILL, so wear your walking shoes. The spa service was AMAZING, such a treat make sure you give it a try! Unlimited complimentary water was a plus, breakfast was included with our reservation, it was good with plenty of options. We also tried the lunch service, the food was good but you can find better Thai options on the street. 20min walk from Kata Market. Overall we enjoyed our stay, highly recommend.

Review of SIS Hotel: A Compact Journey into the Wo

At first glance, SIS Hotel might make you think you’ve entered a magical realm where rooms defy the laws of physics. “Compact” is redefined here, but always with a charm that makes you feel at home, even if “home” suddenly feels like a shoebox. The terrace boasts a hammock chair, offering an exclusive and unexpected twist to alone time. It’s like having a private mini-retreat for meditation or simply enjoying the view – provided you’re not planning a terrace party. The bathroom, separated by a frosted glass panel, is a lesson in modern minimalism meets practical living. It provides a hint of privacy, but with a touch of “I hope you’re comfortable with a bit of transparency in your life.” The warmth and helpfulness of the staff are nothing short of remarkable. They are so attentive and accommodating that you almost expect them to offer solutions to life’s big mysteries, in addition to recommending the best local eatery. Would I return? Absolutely. SIS Hotel is like a box of chocolates – you never quite know what you’re going to get, but each piece is an exciting surprise that makes the whole experience worthwhile

It might have been 4* at some point but it's feeling really tired now. Most of reception staff English is limited so communication is very difficult. Our room hasn't been cleaned properly (ash tray was still dirty, hair, mirrors) and even after asking 2 more times, our mirrors never got cleaned do we gave up asking. The last time that our balcony glass must have been cleaned was at best 6 months ago - it was full of bird poo and dust which has clearly been there for absolute ages. Very disappointing. Checking in was unnecessary long as well. They seem to have lots of staff at reception but that doesn't seem to have any positive impact on the service speed. Breakfast was great though and the pool is lovely.

Stay at the SIS

Staff was courteous and friendly. They were very attentive. The breakfast was good with a nice variety (buffet style). My room was especially nice with the swim up pool at the balcony. Also the scenery was beautiful.
