"The property is beautiful and I loved the boardwalks through the forest. The staff was very helpful, professional, and friendly - they went out of their way to accommodate me as a vegetarian and the chef made a delicious curry even though it wasn't on the menu. Thank you for the lovely stay!"

"The good: staff was very friendly and kind and the reserve has a beautiful view over the valley below. They went out of there way to be helpful. The game vehicles were comfortable and we appreciated having a storage locker between the seats. Anzel was super kind and really tried hard. We liked the little surprises that they had throughout our stay. The bad: hot water in the shower was good for 2-3 minutes and then went cold. "The safety of guests and their property was amazingly ensured, and the staff was helpful and friendly and respected the privacy of guests. the management is fully involved in daily operations."

"This stay was the tonic for just what we needed. Spacious, quiet, very well equipped and clean. Our daily Angel allowed us to enjoy the sounds and sights of nature in peace. Apart from the load shedding, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience."

"O staff do hotel é muito gentil, nosso driver foi excelente!"

"The lodge is lovely with very attentive staff. The cat sanctuary is a must visit and trips to Hluhluwe was easy to organise. It is an easy drive to St Lucia and to Bayete to see the elephant education demonstration which is a must-do. Be aware that there is very little around there so likely you will need to eat dinner at the lodge. The foods is quite plain with not much choice. Also be aware that the rooms have no TVs. I would recommend the Lodge for its position and the attentive staff."

"Don’t be shy! The Lodge is slowly doing some necessary repairs and maintenance, but that will happen slowly over time, in the meantime come and stay for the kind, accommodating, friendly, and professional staff! Communal kitchen, fire pit, and pool! Was a great stay and I learned some new diving tips and will return in the future if I’m here again. "
