"AC in the room looks like it has never been cleaned and could pose some health risks. I didnt feel very well sleeping next to it. Also the building itself doesnt have the name of the hotel outside and the reception area doesnt have hotel vibes which could make it difficult for some people to locate it. "

"It's amazing! Only walking distance from MRT Shaw Station. Just google map the exact street. You need to turn an extra left to see Mariveles Street. The hostel is a good quiet place to sleep. "Very eclectic; the owner takes care of this hostel as he is there everyday with his family and pets. It's your basic hostel- bring your amenities especially insect repellant. Water pressure can be erratic at times, but this is island living so its expected. Great food and great staff. Service can be really slow- avoid if it looks busy. "
