The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a large modern bath and separate shower and everything was very clean. We appreciated the teapot in the room and selection of teas, also the complimentary flapjack. We ate in the restaurant area of the inn and had an excellent meal. 」

「Staff were excellent but there was dust in our room and the bathroom was not very clean. A dirty towel had been left outside the door and the hedge adjacent to our room was overgrown and restricted access. Dinner I'm afraid was not good, I ordered a fillet steak and asked for new potatoes as I was on a low fat diet. When it arrived I had new potatoes, tomatoes and mushrooms covered in oil and two burnt onion ring! But my husband said his dessert was delicious. Breakfast was help yourself...

The decor was dated, the tv didn’t work, the mattress was hard and pillows flat making for an uncomfortable nights sleep.
