「property just down rd from the hard. Hard to find without prior knowledge. Entry was difficult becuase the entry system at first took a lot of doing. It is on a safe system that needs imput from the owners and a no to get the small safe to drop and reveal the key to apt. Not able to get TV or internet until landlady came on sun morning. Phone conversation was not good at all. Frequently breaking down when asking questions. No instructions at all in apt to get started. No hot water...

「Considering the price, we had high hopes for our stay at this house, but unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. Upon arrival, we found the property was not very clean. There was urine left in the upstairs toilet, the downstairs bathroom was dusty with hair around the toilet, and the bath mat had been folded up while still wet. 「Had a fantastic stay for business. Accommodation Central to everything. Needed to work on the isle of Wight, short (20mins) to the ferry. Host was every responsive to my questions. Would consider staying again for either business or a short break. 」

「I loved my stay - it was everything I would have hoped for, and the host could not have been more welcoming. She'd installed a brand new smart TV, the internet access was instant, and there was coffee, tea, sugar and milk for the morning in the shared kitchen. This is a lovely little place for a single person or couple to stay in, and in nice weather there's a pleasant little garden to sit in as well.」

「The host never responded to any communications. I tried calling, SMS, email and hotel.com chat. The agent also tried to contact them unsuccessfully. I had to wait until 4pm on the day of arrival before the agent agreed to re-book. After that I then had to wait for hotels.com to respond. Gave up and asked for a refund. These people will leave you oit of pocket, on the street, in the dark. Dangerous and unethical practice especially for lone female travellers.」
