「Beautiful Manor House , lovely rooms, attentive and considerate staff. A delightful country house weekend.」

「My room was in the main building on the first floor, it was really clean and with a good offering of complimentary water and hot drinks.」

「Unfortunately the hotel had some problems in the kitchen which impacted very badly on the menu for dinner, the breakfast, service (so slow) and noise. It would have been better to fix the problems before reopening or to have had the courtesy to let us know in advance what the situation was. I would have stayed somewhere else. Extremely disappointing as I’ve had lovely stays here in the past. 」

「All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming. This is the third time we have stayed at the , " Duke of York". The rooms are always clean and well supplied and wonderfully quirky. The food is exquisite, good suppliers and a talented chef make any meal you order an absolute delight. The choice of beers and ciders definately hit the spot and are excellently kept. We will, without question, be looking to return for more stays regardless of the season because any time of year is great here.」

「Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x」

「Although our stay was fleeting (just one night) we were made to feel extremely welcome by all of the staff. The room lacked a TV, but actually this was an absolute blessing and it made change not to reach for a remote control. Instead there was a DAB radio which was playing a soothing Classic FM when we entered our rather classy country pub hotel. Everything was to a very high standard in our room. 「ダートムーア国立公園の中心部にあるホテル。 古い建物を使っているが綺麗に保たれており、快適に過ごすことが出来た。 レストランでは近くにある蒸留所の地ビールも頂く事が出来、ディナーの際にはピアノの生演奏を聴きながら優雅に食事を楽しめた。 止まった部屋が2階だったからか、シャワーの出は少し弱め。 ただ、それ以外は完璧なホテルだった。ダートムーアに行った時にはまた泊まりたいと思う。」
