「The proprietors are superb. The property has been extensively upgraded to a superb standard. The pool is perfect for relaxing around as is the number of chairs and tables undercover. BBQ if you wish. The mature trees are so colourful. In 7 years of travel around France this has to be our number one pick. 」

「Hotel manager was exceptionally helpful, kind and hospitable. We trully enjouyed our time in Melchior and with Mr. Manager」

「A great stay with a great host. Very relaxing environment with a cool family story. Breakfast is yummy. A short drive away to St Emillion. Highly recommend.」

「Everything was perfect Lovely and relaxing after traveling The swimming pool is a great bonus The hosts were great」

「It was an absolute delight to stay with Nathalie and Olivier who have lovingly restored the Chateau. They were charming hosts and made the stay one to remember. The renovation of the chateau provides a modern and spacious room that has also retained the charm of the old building. The meals were delightful and prepared by the hosts using fresh local produce. I'd thoroughly recommend Malis Castera to anyone wanting to stay in the wine region.」

「Basic low end hotel. Small room, ok bed, small bathroom. Restaurant trying to be high end but the service is not good and the main course was over cooked. Too bad.」

「We stayed at Michelle’s beautiful guest house for 4 nights in June and what a gem of a find it was! From the moment we booked to stay at 537 St.Emillion, communication was excellent and our welcome was really wonderful. Because there are only 3 rooms, it felt very private, peaceful and special. The swimming pool was lovely. The gardens and views of vineyards and beautiful neighbouring villas was to die for. Michelle went out of his way to ensure our continental breakfasts were fresh every day,...
