The funny thing about the perfect oasis is forgetting the challenge in getting there. Despite narrow roads in a too big rental, the journey was well worth the challenge! If you can get away with a smaller car, do it; although there is parking, it was a tight fit that the wonderful Diego helped us navigate.Once you’re there, it’s all worth it! The views from the terrace are burned into memory, as is watching a spectacular lightning display from the safety of our bedroom window.Communication with Diego was outstanding; our travel mates had to work, making WiFi essential. When we had problems with the WiFi, Diego contacted the provider and fixed it in time for their meetings.Cleanliness: The floor was so clean, we could have eaten off it! They had dryer racks for clothes, as well as iron, ironing board and cleaning supplies. The only shortcoming was paper products, which we picked up in town.Transportation: We saw people waiting (and waiting) for the bus. Given the distance from town, I’d recommend a car. There was a great walking trail (which we found by mistake and is not shown on Google Maps) down to the little town.Surrounding area: Best to get groceries in Bellano before driving up. There are a couple “local” places to eat, but we found the terrace too tempting to leave and ate in for most of our meals.Can’t wait to retern
