Standard mid tier hotel. Rooms need updating but they were clean well where it matters. Would be nice if they changed the sheets when you ask for a room refresh. Instead they just make the bed. Could hear people upstairs and in hallways, but not bad with a sound machine on.

I booked this hotel for a spring break staycation with my boys. We chose this hotel specifically for the pool. When we checked in, we were informed the pool was closed for maintenance. The hot tub was unavailable as well. This was incredibly disappointing!! If I had received a message when I booked saying the pool was unavailable, I would have cancelled and picked somewhere differebt. There were also several hockey teams staying at the same time so it was a bit chaotic as far as noise. Kids will be kids, I get it, but at times a bit excessive. We will not be going back.

Pet friendly. Staff very nice. Lobby decent. Beds comfortable, but cleanliness of carpets were not good and the rooms and hallways are in need of an update.

Warning to anyone that gets a room on the second floor at the back of the hotel, they have a weight room, floor hockey rink and a pickleball court on the third floor above about 6-8 of the guest rooms on the second floor. Was the worst racket I have heard on the ceiling of a hotel room in 35 years of staying in hotels. The hotel knows this and pretends that no one could or should be bothered by it. The only reason I gave this a 2 Star is because the fellow at the front desk was kind enough to move us to a different room for the remainder of our stay. Maintenance is borderline…the tub tap and kitchen tap sprayed water all over when turned on, and the bathroom sink drainpipe leaked all over the bathroom floor. Bottom line…not worth the money or hassle…better hotels in Penticton.

I was sad to enter my very small room and find outdated furnishing, a worn out bed, stained curtains, hairs in my bed, hairs in the bathroom in many areas, one towel that appeared to have been used. I attempted to amend my reservation to reflect a corporate discount and the staff was unable to figure out how, they still have not provided a receipt or correct payment completion. The hot tub was broken, the pool area was not as expected and the halls were filled with shoes left behind from very noisy hockey teams that slammed doors until late. A generator was running outside my window until nearly 2am. I have no interest in returning.

We had a great stay overall. The indoor floor hockey room and pickleball were amazing for the kids—they had a blast and it kept them really entertained. The pool was also great and a nice way for everyone to relax. The hot tub being out of service was a major bummer for the adults, though. That was something we were really looking forward to. The hotel itself is a bit older, but it was fairly priced so we weren’t expecting anything too fancy. Overall, it was a good stay for the price and a fun spot for families, especially with the activities for kids.

The staff were so friendly!! Comfy bed, clean room, great location. But…you can hear EVERYTHING…people walking above you doors closing, cars starting. Just an older building I think…bring ear plugs.

Hotel definitely needs some TLC, my room was okay but door to patio wouldn’t open, was dark and a lot of things that need attention. Hot tub was shut down which is the reason I booked a hotel with a hot tub, even called prior to check in and wasn’t notified of this. I couldn’t get a hold of Bar One after multiple attempts. Hallway was always a mess… okay hotel but not worth $200/night.

Efficient check in and check out. Room was nothing special but clean and a great option for one night after going to a concert in Pentiction. A little noisy at times but was good enough for a one night stay. Overall good experience!

As expected for a budget property. It did the job for having somewhere to sleep and was clean but very dated. The check in person was very clearly not enjoying his job and had zero personality. Checking out though was lovely and the lady at the front desk was great. Again, it's in a convenient spot to the SOEC and we did get a pretty good sleep. I would recommend, just with the caveat that is not top shelf!

The noise from the pool area was incredible. We could not even have a conversation in our room the screaming was so loud. It didn’t stop until 10 o’clock, and then children and teenagers were thundering down the hallways for another 20 to 25 minutes. It was so loud that it was actually comical, or would’ve been if I hadn’t been up since two in the morning and hoping to get to bed at around nine. The hotel was so busy when we arrived that after waiting about half hour and seeing that we might still have more than an hour’s wait to check in, we left to go for dinner and came back several hours later. We only had to wait 10 minutes to check in then. The rooms were clean and in reasonably good shape and the hotel itself was in good shape and the staff was super friendly. They were very short staffed at the Denny’s and after waiting 20 minutes to be seated, we left to go somewhere else for breakfast. Only half the restaurant was full, but they didn’t have the staff to seat people or to serve people. I will never stay at this hotel again. I strongly advise the manager or owner of this hotel to check himself into one of the rooms when the pool is active and see what they think about having it open till 10 o’clock at night. The very least they should be doing is offering ear protection to the unsuspecting victims who show up thinking they might have a chance of a good night sleep.
