Partial Lakeview was lovely. The pub had a lineup, and we weren't given any info regarding it, so we avoided going in.

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
Pool is run down, insulation crumbling from the ceiling. Didn’t use the pool or hot tub once because of this also because we were in the newer building which is not attached to the main building this made wanting to go to the pool inconvenient. Looked like a basement pool with painted walls to try and make it nicer. Wasn’t worth the journey to the pool.
Staff didn’t ask how our stay was when checking out.. or call once we were in our room after checking in to see if everything was okay. Our mouth wash was opened/used in the bathroom.
Construction outside started bright and early making it difficult to sleep in past 8. Loud ac and the loudest toilet flushing I have ever heard it is also not secured very well, when you sit on it or get off, it would bounce against the wall. Needs to be replaced. I think this resort should focus on upgrades rather than constructing new buildings… a pool upgrade is much needed especially when your paying over 300$ a night in the off season… lake view was okay.. once you looked past the building and all the construction first.
We stayed there because our daughter and BF whom we visited, live across the street.
Hotel was very good, clean, nice rooms, helpful staff and well priced, good breakfast menu. Only drawback is partygoers and guests noisy at nighttime in parking lot. Seemed to be a problem on weekends mostly. Would definitely stay there again, trying to avoid Saturday nights.
Love this hotel right on the lake! Our go to place for overnights when there is a concert or hockey game in town! Wonderful in the summer for boating and dining inside or out! Great property with pool and gym and beach. Fantastic location and staff!
The grounds and walking paths were very nice (we were there in October). The restaurants were very good, particularly the Hooded Merganser. However, the bed was TERRIBLE and we subsequently had a very poor sleep for the 2 nights we were there. If we were planning to be in the city longer, we would have changed hotels.
The hotel as a whole is beautiful. Great location on the lake and literal steps from the farmers market. The view from our room onto the lake was beautiful. The room was a bit dated, but it was clean and the beds were comfy
The room had an amazing view and was fairly clean. We found the bathroom to be a little too dirty and we were not informed about the pay parking fill we checked out.
The staff were all so friendly but especially the two room service people who assisted us. They were so very happy, friendly and prompt! We will be back for sure!
We were in the older building. Shower took a good 10 minutes to heat up. Air conditioner was very loud and someone was smoking pot both nights we stayed. When I notified the front desk the first night they turned off the air conditioner on their end very quickly and said they would send security up to check out the smell right away, so staff were very good. We dined at the Hooded Merganser and the on-site breakfast restaurant, both were very good with lovely staff!
