We really enjoyed the history of the house, the location to downtown, the charm of the neighborhood, and the cozy atmosphere of the house. We were even visited by the most beautiful and sweet kitty. I loved sitting on the porch with her on my lap. It was all perfect.
The Blake cottage was great! Just a short walk away from plenty of amazing restaurants and shops. We also really enjoyed just walking around the gorgeous neighborhood. Comfy bed, relaxing energy, and the perfect location. I don’t think we could have found a better place for the value!
Perfect getaway in a quiet safe neighborhood. The blake is the perfect no frills cottage. Definitely would recommend. For more than 2 guests we recommend the Jesse cottage next door which we had the opportunity to occupy as well. Cynthia and Rachel were great at answering any needs that arose.

Great. 😊 We will be back from Texas
Short trip to visit family and friends in Pcola. Great little cottage for my son and some old friends to meet for a Friday night walk to Palafox for entertainment and dinner. Enjoyed a few glasses of wine and a few beers with them at the cottage afterwards. Cottage could use a small fridge with freezer for ice rather than dorm room fridge with no freezer. Nice parking in rear for visitors.
Overall very good. Only issue was need for space heaters because temp was 31 degrees in the mornings. Heaters really dried out the air and hard to keep a consistent temperature inside. Plenty of a/c window units so assume much easier to cool the house when outside temps are 80. Location great. Amenities very good. Cost excellent.

Cute house in a perfect location! Walk to everything in downtown Pensacola! Management was great and house was spotless!
Blake Cottage offered us exactly what we needed - a clean & affordable place to stay within walking distance of an Art Festival in Seville Square. It was a perfect spot to rest after hours of walking, and just right for two people. Having access to its own parking was a plus during this busy weekend too!
Everything was ready for us. We only stayed one night and we slept well. Growing up in Pensacola, I always enjoyed the Historic District and the revitalization has made it a great place to visit.
The Blake cottage is perfectly located in downtown Pensacola. You can drive to the beach in about 15-20 minutes, dig your toes in the sand and soak up the sun. Or you can take a walk to Palafox and enjoy all that downtown offers. I took advantage of both and thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Blake cottage.
Our host and location were wonderful! We requested a new coffee machine, the current one was well used and could not be cleaned, the very next day we received a new one!!If you have allergy problems the Blake wouldn’t be for you. Lots of rotten wood and big gaps around windows and doors. The back yard was very cozy, we shared it with our friends who stayed in the Jesse. Over all we had a great time!! Thank you, Cindy
I enjoyed the quiet cottage. The cleaning lady across the street helped me in and out and watched the property. The only down was a damp smell and cobcern for warped front door.

We parked the car on Wednesday and didn't need it again until we left on Sunday. We walked everywhere, the Historic Village, Palifox Street, the waterfront, etc. The house is cute, but if you don't like the roar of 3 window air conditioners, then you may want to reconsider. Also, there is only a small refrigerator, no freezer for ice or cold blocks and don't invite anyone over to share a meal, there are only 3 kitchen chairs and utensils are limited. Bring all you supplies for cooking. There was tp and paper towels and garbage bags. We'd return, but at a time when you don't need to cool or heat the home. PS the cleaning lady is a sweetheart!
