"Absolutely lovely lodge, very spacious, well equipped and clean, with accommodating hosts. Our family of 4 used it as a central base for a number of attractions we wanted to visit across Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Yorkshire, but there’s also plenty to do locally if that’s a preference. "lovely place i would suggest that the shower tray has some non-slip pads or a mat as we were a bit frightened of falling The door handles were very stiff & as we are elderly we found them difficult to turn. The kitchen door needs planing as it sticks on the floor. Overall we were very pleased with the accomodation & would recomend it"
