"When we arrived we saw immediately that the sofabed in the lounge was broken and could not be used to sit or sleep on, this was disappointing as it meant there were not enough beds for us all. "This was our second visit to Lumley Castle. Our room was very spacious with a very comfortable super-king bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast this time, the continental part was very good but the full english was a bit disappointing unfortunately, we would have the waffles next time as they looked amazing. Will definitely stay again."
