The surroundings are idyllic with lavender fields, apple and plum trees as well as all the beaitiful plants
Everywhere is immaculately maintained from the grounds to the restaurant and cottages.
The staff were so kind and helpful .
Would return in a heartbeat.

A lovely hotel, what was so good was how welcoming and helpful all the staff were during our stay.
The room was spacious with a sitting area and a large TV. The bed was very comfy.
We had a breakfast both days, excellent choice of food and helpful staff. There is nothing negative I can say about this hotel.」

Although the signage to the entrance is not easy to see, you can argue that it is discreet and in keeping with the property; the location on Google and Hotels.com was accurate too. What a beautiful house, fabulous service, spacious and well equipped rooms and marvellous breakfast. And wonderful spaniels. Definitely bringing my wife with me next time!」
「Not great for EV drivers as when you take the car to charge, you cannot return to the hotel to park. And the cleanliness in the bathroom prevented me from bathing my 3 year old.」
「This is our second time staying here and cannot recommend it highly enough, it is super close to Beamish which is why we stayed. Rooms are lovely and clean, food is amazing big portions, the staff are super helpful and very friendly. Lovely seated area to the rear to enjoy drinks, Good parking also to rear of property. Would highly recommend.」
