"Very clean rooms, love the free water, tea, coffee and milk ect. Great they give a doggie rug for the fur baby and leave a toy. Love the feel of the place , friendly.. free coffee machine, dog treats, water and ice daily in the lounge and sometimes a cake. Staff are friendly and helpful. Easy to book online and check in. "The Crescent Hotel is on the Georgian crescent overlooking the park and is a perfect location for going to the Stephen Joseph Theatre. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Our room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Our only small quibble is that there is Open Mic night on Fridays and we were right above the bar, so we could hear the bass playing, but it wasn't too bad as we were on the third floor. "I think the hotel is either new or newly run as they seem to be finding their feet. Check-in was 3pm to 4pm and when I called to say I might be around 6:30, I was told "it's only hour and a half from Manchester" and "there might not be anyone here after 5pm". It felt a bit abrupt in all honesty but when I arrived around 5:30 (Friday school holiday traffic), they were pleasant enough. Breakfast starts at 10:30 to 11:30 which is very late and checkout is 10am. Weird timings, hence my theory they...

"Lovely welcoming staff. Friendly atmosphere. Well stocked bar with plenty of seating & a beer garden. Great cooked breakfast. Everywhere well cleaned. Good spacious room with a lovely comfy bed, kettle with tea/coffee etc. hairdryer, toiletries in bathroom. Nice hot shower. We would certainly recommend & will return for another stay. "

"I highly recommend this hotel and always stay here when in Scarborough. I always pay extra for the sea view and it is well worth it. Breakfast is great and it is an easy walk down the High Street from the station. Buses are excellent all around the area, eg. Bridlington, Filey, Whitby, Robin Hoods ay, etc. I love the seafront walks. Thank you to all staff."
