「いいホテルなんですが、メンテナンスさえなければ…建物の壁面メンテナンス工事中でした。足場が気になりました。 ただ、窓を少し開けて眠ると、波の音が心地良かったです。」

「A really lovely, intimate place to stay. The breakfast was excellent and good quality & portion. The overall standard was very good, and the staff were especially friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Would definitely recommend for a relaxed, comfortable stay.」

「The room was ok,but you could smell kitchen odours in the bathroom . The evening meals were poor, alot of the meals did not have the ingredients and the meals were poorly cooked. Lacked organisation 」

「It is an excellent location, beautiful sea view rooms overlooking south bay, close to local amenities, there is a lift to take you down to the seafront and back again, only cost £2.50, I recommend it for the view. Rooms are serviced every day, great friendly staff, great restaurant and it’s dog friendly too, don’t take my word for it! Just go and enjoy 😊 」

「Lovely welcoming staff. Friendly atmosphere. Well stocked bar with plenty of seating & a beer garden. Great cooked breakfast. Everywhere well cleaned. Good spacious room with a lovely comfy bed, kettle with tea/coffee etc. hairdryer, toiletries in bathroom. Nice hot shower. We would certainly recommend & will return for another stay. 」

「Whilst the decor was a little dated our stay was great. Staff helpful and friendly. You can't get breakfast at The Maynard but their sister hotel on the corner was just minutes away, and you got a discount for being guests at The Maynard. Staff/Service excellent. The only thing i would say is my friend was unable to take a bath or shower as there was not a slip mat to assist in their safety.」

「Jacuzzi was out of order and pool cold due to broken pump. No complimentary breakfast or discount was given. Very disappointed as only booked that hotel over others for facilities and they were unavailable. 30 minute walk to get to the main attractions」

「I think the hotel is either new or newly run as they seem to be finding their feet. Check-in was 3pm to 4pm and when I called to say I might be around 6:30, I was told "it's only hour and a half from Manchester" and "there might not be anyone here after 5pm". It felt a bit abrupt in all honesty but when I arrived around 5:30 (Friday school holiday traffic), they were pleasant enough. Breakfast starts at 10:30 to 11:30 which is very late and checkout is 10am. Weird timings, hence my theory they...

「Check in on arrival was good, staff were friendly. Unfortunately there was a problem with firsty no hot water on the first morning and then water was a dribble from the taps and shower on the second morning recessed it was just an issue on the 5th floor. Window in the room did not lock so kept blowing open in the wind all night. Hotel room was nice a big and clean. 」

「Unclean and run down. Breakfast tasted cheap for £38 for 2 adults and a toddler. Strange setup and nothing like what was advertised. Extremely heavy and fast shutting doors, no good for little fingers in a family bedroom.」

「No parking here, but it is right in the center of town so very convenient. The room was spacious and spotless.」
