"The area wasn’t that bad, the room was horrible, the “breakfast” was really bad and the guy in the restaurant was rude. The front desk person was very nice."

"Staff support was great! Elio Jean (Mgr) tried his best to help us. However, the hotel is terrible! The bathroom was falling apart, plumbing in disrepair, no shower curtain, only 2 bath towels (no hand or face towels) and only a chunk of soap. Ceiling light was hanging down by the wires. The WiFi did not extend to our room. There were dogs barking all night and then a rooster beginning at 5AM. The neighbourhood was noisy and seemed unsafe. Difficulty finding breakfast without walking for miles. "Newly Renovated" did not appear to be true for most of the building. I would never go back!"

"Beautiful Property, Not a True Luxury Experience At $1,500+ per night, the expectation is a seamless luxury experience. Casa de Campo is visually beautiful, but service and value did not match the price. Check-in required a 25+ minute wait for a “concierge check-in”, while 2 front desk agents remained unoccupied, yet there was no meaningful property overview or proactive assistance. The room was standard at best and consistently humid. We had booked expecting a hot tub, but only select rooms in another section section of the resort have them. Even after a partial adjustment through Expedia, the value was not there. The main pool shows visible wear, and overall upkeep does not reflect a luxury rate. Concierge service lacked initiative. When restaurants were full, we had to prompt alternatives. There was also confusion about what our stay included, despite the high rate, it covered no meals or experiences, only the room and a golf cart. Dining was good overall. Breakfast at Lago stood out thanks to Jael, who delivered the only truly five-star service we experienced. The property and golf course are beautiful, but service precision, clarity, and overall value fall short of true luxury standards. "

"The room was ok. We were there only for one night. The area is a little shady, but we were (somewhat) close to the La Romana Cruise Port. "

"This property and Nicole were amazing. The location was unbelievable, with rooftop views of the marina and all of the best restaurants just steps away. Nicole reserved a ride to and from the airport for us, had a golf cart waiting when we arrived, and had Jasmine cook breakfast and keep the property clean while we were there. Everyone in the marina (especially the security guards) knows Nicole, and if you need anything, just tell them you are renting with Nicole, and they roll out the red carpet. We would definitely recommend this property and Nicole!"
