The room itself was spacious and clean. The rest of the property was dismal. Pools and hot tub seemed to grimy and dirty. The sand around the beach chairs had lots of garbage in it. The selection of food and quality was lacking as well. I ordered lasagna and had 2 pieces of bone in it. The outdoor bar area smelled like hot vomit. I couldn’t even go get a drink because of the smell.

I wanted to goce this property a better review. I really was impressed when we first arrived, although I paid extra to pick our room they ensured we got exactly the room I choose and even had a fruit tray and bottle of champage in the room for my birthday upon arrival and the fridge stocked with a variety of drinks. But there were dead bees all over the floor when we pulled the curtains back. Hair all over the shower and then the shower barley had any pressure. On our 2nd day, the toilet wouldn't stop running and there was water all over the bathroom floor which they fixed while we were out, no problem. But upon our return we noticed the AC was not working. I went down and imformed the desk they said someone had to be in the room for maintenance, odd since I didn't need to the first time, but ok so I waited and had to call the desk again. The tech was not friendly, and almsot rude. Then when he came back he said it was froze up and I needed to leave the AC off while it unfroze and accused me of having doors open. But he would be back in 10 mins or so. I waited almost 2hours until I had to leave for dinner, called the desk still no one came, so I went to the desk b4 leaving. When we returned that night we found they had locked our balcony doors like we did something wrong. And the overnight desk agent is probably the rudest i've met in the hotel business. I work in hotels and it was my first trip to DR. I was extremly disappointed. We decided to extend our stay else where.

Great place to be relaxe as a couple. The staff was amazing. Price and value worthy. While, even that every place are sign of not smoking, customer smoke every where and nobody address the situation. I think they need to assign some areas for smokers.

We checked in around 11:00 pm so the staff wasn't the most friendly. Parking wasn't clear for our rental but we worked with locals outside to help us. The property was nice and a good deal for the price tag. Our room was huge so that was nice. There isn't a beach to swim in due to it being rocky. We thought we could snorkel but equipment wasn't available so we could only enjoy the pools. They were nice but just seemed to randomly close at odd times. The buffet was good and a decent selection every night. My husband did get food poisoning and we are unsure where it came from as we did an excursion tour along with food from the buffet. Due to his illness, we ended up needing to change our flights and stay an extra 2 days. I asked the staff at the front desk what our options were to extend the stay. They simply told me that they couldn't help and said I needed to see what was available on their website. The rates were almost 3x what I paid to begin with so we were forced to move to an Airbnb. I also went to the buffet to bring back a piece of bread for my husband when he felt he could get something in his system and was DENIED that request by the host at the buffet that evening. Mind you, we were all inclusive so....well I am still baffled by this. The guys at the food truck saved the day and I thought I was insane ordering a hamburger without the burger or toppings, just the bun. I feel our experience at the resort could have been better but it was average.

La nourriture du buffet était très bonne. Les chambres avec vue sur la mer offrent également une vue sur les piscines. Mon balacon avait un hamac, ce qui était super. La musique joue jusqu'à 23h le soir.

Front desk wasn't very helpful. Upon the arrival we made several calls to request various small things, and none of them was fulfilled, despite promise of "in 5 Minutes". Learned to help ourselves by ourselves. Looks like there is a shortage of cleaning maids. You can never tell at what time your room will be cleaned, or cleaned at all (at the beginning we had two days without service). On the positive side - the Junior Suite upgrade (Building 5), was totally worth the money. Large bedroom with a sitting/guest room, good and quiet ACs in each room, double large TV set, balcony with a stunning view - all for extra $30 per night. The food has significantly improved over the last visit (it was 2 years ago). The buffet food was good, and the two a-la-carte restaurants actually positively surprised with the quality and taste. Great scuba diving club with the friendly host Lily and the outstanding resident divemaster Vincenso. This is an excellent place for the beginner scuba divers, and great even for the pros. Saw a variety of rare sea animals including eagle rays and manatees (lamantin). Snorkelling is also outstanding with a lot of fish and other creatures. Positively, the place has improved a lot over the past two years

The staff were amazing. No room service, but you can take food from the buffet back to your room. There were a couple of times where we had no water. As long as you plan ahead and dont get in a rush for the shower, it was no problem.

Room was clean, buffet was pretty good but the sit down restaurants were better quality. Staff was helpful and friendly. The drinks were a little cheap but overall a good experience

We love it! It is far from the Airport and there is no beach at the property. Yet there is this beautiful sunset and nice restaurants, evething included. The food is delicious and of a good variety. I recommend it

parking lot is outside, not sure there’s any security there. lobby is very small and during check in it’s extremely crowded. The girl who did my check in on Friday was very nice. No one took me to my room or helped me with my bags. Most of the staff is extremely nice and helpful. The building I stayed in was not in the best condition, I was in the top floor, you could see filtration in the halls. The room was okay, I’d say the decoration was minimalistic. I’d say the room was clean 3/5 the bathroom floor was stained and so were the bed sheets. TV and wifi did not work in the room. The direct view of the ocean was worth paying for and the hammock was the cherry on top. Extremely comfortable. I would go back for the view and hammock hahaha. When it comes to the food, it’s 2/5 most food was not the best and I had some pancakes on Saturday morning that were bad, either the batter went bad or they used something on it that made them bitter. Very sad. Also, scrambled eggs with ham in them?! Why?! I’m sad to say I left a lot of the food on the plate on every meal because it just wasn’t right. The alcoholic beverages were 1/5 maybe the beer was good but I don’t drink beer, coctels never tasted right and even the pina colada was wrong. Very sad. The snack bar was good, always had food, hot dogs, burgers, fries. It was acceptable (cheap meat you could taste). The food truck was cool, they have a bigger variety of snacks but only one cook, very long line. No waiters outside main buffets

This was our second stop in Dominican Rep we were coming from a 5 stars resort in Bavaro where we had a great experience. At HM Food, the main buffet was repetitive but acceptable, the grilled meat was a safe every day, chicken or beef, fruits not the best i ate in Dominican Republic. Italian rest honestly to be avoided, Dominican rest better but I’m not sure if I got poisoned there. We booked a room with ocean view and the view was spectacular in particular at the sunset, cleaning and dimensions of the room were acceptable and we had a fantastic hammock on the balcony that was a great spot, bad of the room air conditioning and fridge extremely noisy and hot water one day yes and one day no, no idea why Provide a review about the animation team is very personal, in my opinion more than entertaining the guys were flirting with the girls and not paying attention to other customers, there’s few activities and no one is reaching out to include you, the evening shows like magicians and dancing groups were good but everything ends at 11 pm that in my opinion was too early on holiday The pools were okay, the sea for non-expert swimmers better to avoid, no fish or tortoises to see under the water so you won’t really miss anything. We had horrible experience at the checkout with the uber drivers, they were accepting book but asking to cancel it to charge more on cash,we have been forced to accept Overall is an acceptable low cost resort basically you get for what you pay.

They need a better food selection for lunch and dinner. Breakfast was average.
