Indeed the room was spotless. It was a very comfortable apartment with a wonderful balcony with a table where you could eat outside. The kitchen had everything you needed. And the washing machine was an added delight.

A GEM IN PAPEETE

I couldn't have been more pleased with the accommodation. And it was reasonably priced! I did consult with the team and they responded quickly and seamlessly. There is a large grocery store within walking distance. There is a 5-minute walk to the sea where there is a great seaside park along the coastline. The view from the balcony was wonderful especially at sunset. It was a great place to have a meal. You even had a view of Moorea Island. I was so fortunate to have found this place. Oh, and the washing machine was an added bonus!

The place is about a 20-minute walk from the city centre. The walk itself doesn’t feel very safe — we saw several homeless people acting strangely and even police dealing with a fight. I wouldn’t recommend walking alone, especially in the evening.We stayed two nights. The first night was very difficult to sleep because roosters started crowing around 10 p.m. and continued until morning. The bed also had only a sheet, which felt unusual.Facilities like the bathroom and toilet were basic but functional. We didn’t use the kitchen as we were out most of the day.
