"I had a delightful stay"

"No hot water and no communication. We had no hot water - like the hot water was turned off, it was ice cold and no faucet increased. We called, texted, and messaged through Expedia, and got no response. No one is on site. If I am paying this price for a lodge stay I expect to be able to have hot - or at the very least warm water. I didn’t want to give a bad review but I have emailed and messaged the hotel since then and only get automated responses. It was a disappointment because we like going to Vashon, but not sure we will try here again."

"The place was amazing and the view was incredible. We will definitely stay again. We appreciated the extra blankets for the deck and parking. The only suggestions we have is to add a dresser in the 2nd bedroom and the mattress in the second bedroom was concrete hard. "

"This is a great place!!! Remodel was gorgeous and the finishes were clearly done right. Quiet neighborhood and just mins from everything, beach, downtown, Pikes Place Market, Soace Needle, and Airport. Host is VERY quick to respond and they have thought of EVERYTHING to ensure your comfort. If you need a place in the area, DON’T sleep on this one, it is fantastic!!!"

"1st time renting on Vrbo and it was the worst experience you could have ! Messaged the host that there was no heat and was replied to be mindful of the noise (this was 6 pm on a Friday) never got the heat figured out , it was extremely cold and they didn’t bother to check on it if it started working , however we were messaged multiple times that we were too loud. They knew we had 4 children , none of which were running around screaming, no music just adults having conversations. At one point we tried to play a family game and was told we needed to go out for the night instead of hanging out at the house. Keep in mind there was only street parking and a very little amount of that, the thought of hauling kids blocks in the dark was not ideal. We woke on the morning to find they had canceled the rest of our stay , very frustrating on Valentine’s Day to find another place for multiple people although so happy we did because our next night was a completely different experience!I would say if you have children or like to talk this is not the place for you , in fact they should reconsider renting out ! Also beware of the dog poop in the grass in front of the house , it was disgusting ! "

"From the time we checked in, the refrigerator did not work. I reported the issue immediately to Vacasa to the number on the support page, acting as a rep for VRBO. The first person did not ever get back to me. The second person I called was the Vacasa local manager indicated that evening that she would reimburse for the ice we purchased to try to keep the cold items we had just bought before checking in from spoiling and for the hassel of no refrigerator. "

"The host was wonderful, answering all questions prior to our arrival. The home was clean and well organized for guests. The views were amazing. We did not cook while there, only making coffe. However, there were ample cooking utensils and spices if one wished to eat in. We loved and would visit again in the future."
