"Lovely, peaceful stay in a great location. Lots of extra comforts available (extra pillows/blankets, nice towels, towel warmer, instant hot water heater) with a wonderful, well stocked kitchen. We didn’t use the kayaks, but boats and water were both very accessible. The views can’t be beat, and communication was clear and quick. Thank you!"

"No hot water and no communication. We had no hot water - like the hot water was turned off, it was ice cold and no faucet increased. We called, texted, and messaged through Expedia, and got no response. No one is on site. If I am paying this price for a lodge stay I expect to be able to have hot - or at the very least warm water. I didn’t want to give a bad review but I have emailed and messaged the hotel since then and only get automated responses. It was a disappointment because we like going to Vashon, but not sure we will try here again."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Island View rental. It was clean and just as the pictures represented. Ron communicated ahead of our stay with clear instructions and access. Thank you for the coffee, too! We will be back!"

"From the time we checked in, the refrigerator did not work. I reported the issue immediately to Vacasa to the number on the support page, acting as a rep for VRBO. The first person did not ever get back to me. The second person I called was the Vacasa local manager indicated that evening that she would reimburse for the ice we purchased to try to keep the cold items we had just bought before checking in from spoiling and for the hassel of no refrigerator. "

"Welcoming host. Beautiful house in great condition. Warm and cheery gas fireplace/freestanding stove and huge window in the large room with a great view of Puget Sound and Seattle. Deck would be very pleasant in warm weather."
