「Great hotel and staff. We made a quick stop here on our way to Vegas to get married, and the team surprised us with an upgrade to a suite as a wedding gift. Such a thoughtful gesture. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone considering a visit.」

「We njoyed our stay as the hotel was clean and staff helpful and cheerful. The room was beautiful with bed comfortable. The only issue was the parking lot directly across the hotel with the unhoused which can make guest feel unsafe. Guests have to pay $25 extra to secure vehicle.」

「The check-in was great, room was clean. Location was great in terms of having plenty of shopping, restaurants and safety within the property. The surrounding area is a bit run down all businesses have bars on windows and there are transients walking about, however that is to be expected for a downtown urban area. 」

「Convince of of & on the hwy to I-25, very clean rooms at a good price. Staff was super nice and accommodating, breakfast was good, looked like a nice pool & hot tub however we did not use. Only thing I wish is you didn’t have to go to third floor for ice 😥. But a great place to stay, that was our third time. Beds were comfy too!」

「This was a basic ,clean no frills motel. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were meh. The bathroom water pressure in shower was great. The front desk was helpful and friendly. We arrived late and could not see the entrance to the office but we called and someone answered to direct us. It was on the right about 20' in when entering the property. If you are not looking for luxury and just a safe clean place to stay have no fear, the Monterey will not disappoint. They had a small bar, there...

「At first I was very happy with the guy at the counter when I arrived. He was very helpful and knew the area well. But later that day (I have to use oxygen so I can't smell things) I noticed that there was a bad smell coming from under the bathroom sink. I thought it was the trash can so I put it outside my door for housekeeping to take care of. But the absolute jerk who was there the second evening bawled me out and said I had to keep this smelly thing inside my room for housekeeping the next...

「Stayed for one night and staff was pretty chill. Front desk felt like a coffee shop — They also are your barista and can whip up some cafe drinks for whatever you order on their menu. It’s set up as a motel, so parking was close enclosed in the property. So convenient! No elevators that we spotted to get to the second floor, but wasn’t that big of an inconvenience for us.
