"This property is listed as a four star hotel and it is not. It does not have all the amenities a four star hotel should have and it hasn’t been maintained up to that standard. I don’t completely dislike the hotel as it was clean and had good AC, but staff could’ve been friendlier and they were not. The pool is extremely small and poorly situated. You can’t enjoy the ocean view because right below it it’s a busy street full of smoke and noise. No beach access at all. No parking either. The kids couldn’t play in pool without splashing bar area for which the bar tender unkindly noted it. The best rate and price should be no higher than a 3 star. There’s a lot of noise as it’s situated on a Main Street. The terrace view is awful. The breakfast was decent but still not nearly close to a 4 star. I really don’t like being deceived by the wrong hotel rating. The rooms were poorly stocked with only 2 towels and a miniature shampoo bottle for a stay of four. So do not pay the rate of a 4 star hotel for this hotel. "

"I had a beautiful view of the ocean. Everything was convenient, with a 7/11 right next door. I had a lovely time and it didn't break the bank. I was very satisfied with my stay."

"The employees were fine the problem is the facility pictures are not the way we found the resort. The place is a snorkel and scuba divers resort which we are not... they all seemed to be enjoying their stay. To get to the restaurant you have to cross the street... my wife and I were looking for a beach where you can walk into the water and you can't because of the rocks. We arrived in time for lunch and the food was not good and not even closely the same as described or portrayed in photos. "

"Las Anclas is a beautiful, clean, centrally located location to many restaurants, a grocery store (Mega Soriana), and activities in San Miguel.The distance to the ferry pier is walkable or a short taxi ride. Since there are only 8 villas, it is quiet and restful with a lovely courtyard in which to relax. The villas offered all we needed, with a microwave, extra large mini fridge, dishes, hairdryer, comfortable bed, excellent air conditioning, and plenty of hot water. If you are in Cozumel for scuba diving you'll appreciate an area to rinse and hang dive gear in the courtyard. We enjoyed the small pool area while our dive gear dried in the warm sun. We look forward to the next our travel plans bring us back to Las Anclas"

"The room is old and needs updating The staff was great Nice pool but very loud and a lot of activities no Wi-Fi in the rooms. The breakfast was good sitting out on the beach on the ocean was nice."

"The bare minimums here. Old and basic as it gets. Thankfully I didn't bring a guest there. They over charged me from the price I received in Expedia, but it's not even worth haggling because they didn't want me to ask about the charges saying, "Just sign paper. Just sign paper." I'm hoping to resolve this later with English speaking Expedia staff. The "discount" menu for people staying is garbage. The 3 fish tacos I ordered were disgusting at way too many pesos... They made me feel sick after eating. Again, bare minimum and not even worth it's price at a discount. Beer and cocktail prices to the attached, No Name Bar, are near double to anywhere else on the island. Staff was nice... they don't fix the prices or the amenities so I can't blame them. All in all, I was unimpressed to say the least. "
