Pearl Continental Lahore

2/10 Terrible

"Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing and far below the standards. Upon arrival, we were assigned a room that was in an unacceptable condition and clearly not ready for guests. Only after repeated complaints and insistence on speaking with management were we moved to another room by a newly recruited manager. While the second room was an improvement, it still failed to meet the standards promised by the hotel. The service was equally frustrating. A simple request for tea took approximately 45 minutes to arrive, and when it did, it was served in a torn tea cosy. Guests were also expected to share an iron, which is unacceptable for a hotel claiming to offer a luxury experience. When we reported that the closet light would not switch off, a staff member's solution was to pull out the wiring entirely so the light would never turn on again. This was highly unprofessional and raised concerns about the hotel's maintenance standards. The room itself showed clear signs of neglect. The lamp hardware was damaged, the bathtub had permanent stains and marks, and several fixtures appeared worn and poorly maintained. We booked this hotel expecting a premium experience. Instead, we received service and accommodations that felt closer to a two-star property while paying five-star prices. The disparity between what was advertised and what was delivered was significant. Will not recommend this hotel!"

"On our recent stay at the Movenpick I would not rate it as a 5 star hotel.The staff were wonderful except for one on the second floor restaurant,as an elderly couple with medical needs we are not able to dine on a buffet but were willing to pay for the ala carte breakefast which would be a simple egg on toast but were informed that we could not eat it in the restaurant but we could pay for breakefast and an additional charge for room service,considering we did not have adequate seating in the room we were told that we could eat it sitting on bed.This particular staff member belittled us to the extent we never returned to the restaurant.we were glad to return home,wish we could have left sooner.Think twice before booking a long stay at this hotel."

"We stayed four nights at the Marriott Islamabad.Our stayed was exceptional.The staff are very kind friendly and welcoming they go above and beyond to help people.Breakfast was excellent.The hotel is very clean The rooms are spacious and the kingsize bed is amazing comfortable.I would like to thank Fizarn,Yusra and Abbiad for all there help and support.Amazing staff that go above and beyond to help you. Thank you Mr and Mrs Mahmood "
