「When I arrived, I put my bags in the room and left for a walk. The villa is up a steep hill from the main town. I had a pleasant walk to some nearby viewpoints. On my return the room smelt of damp and mould, on closer inspection there was mould in multiple places and when I switched on the aircon it was worse. I contacted them to ask for an alternative room as it was heading toward 6pm. They offered me one but there was also a slight damp smell in that room so I decided to book another hotel...

Staff members are super nice, friendly and professional, willing to help with anything in order to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. 「Maybe partly because the building is a bit old, but there were some small bugs. Given that it's in a tropical area, having bugs around is pretty normal, but if you really can’t stand them, I’d recommend choosing a different hotel. The breakfast was delicious, especially the Indonesian dishes! The food wasn't overly spicy, and many dishes allowed you to customize the flavors to your liking, which was really fun.
