"Very beautiful "

"The resort is absolutely fantastic. The staff will do anything to ensure you have a good stay. The free activities are incredible. Make sure you try yoga with the incredibly skilled Wayan and the walks with the activities coordinator are well worth it to see parts of the area you would not have seen. I had a 2 hour massage and scrub experience with Riki which was absolutely incredible and so reasonably priced. I recommend the spa !The only problem at the moment is what staff call ‘the conservation project’ which is in fact heavy machinery on the beach moving rocks to build a rock wall. They work from 8am to 9:30pm at night. I don’t doubt it is essential work but I would stay there once it is finished (this year according to staff) or just make sure you select your room carefully. I had to change rooms and the staff were empathetic and responsive to my concerns. The trouble is the construction moved to underneath my balcony on my last morning making the balcony unusuable. Besides this I would highly recommend Candi Beach Resort. "

"When we arrived we went to reception and no one was there. We went looking for someone at the property and found a cleaner who came over to the reception, ask to see my booking and looked confused. She also wanted to see a receipt as they were not expecting us. Saw this in another review as well… so not a good first impression. We then had to wait a couple of hours for our room to be ready… we watched them and instead of cleaning ours straight away they went on their way and cleaned other ones…. And after staying the night… we became aware no one was even staying in those villas… we were the only ones there at the property. No smiles, no kind and friendly interactions like we are used to in Bali… was just a real off experience… we had 3 nights booked and left after the first night… didn’t even bother about loosing out on the 2nd and 3rd night… just got up and left. I would avoid this property all together."

"Our room was beautiful. Wasn’t exactly ocean front as you are made to believe in the pictures and descriptions it’s more pool front. And there is construction works going on at the waters edge so there wasn’t any access. Other than that it was noisy at night as expected but a comfy well appointed stay "

"This is an ideal place to stay especially as a solo female traveller. Run by lovely staff the location is fantastic and in easy reach of everything at Candi Dasa. The food in the restaurant is well priced and offers great Indonesian food that is consistently good. I would definately stay again."
