Although we only stayed 1 night, we were blown away by the peacefulness and river view. Everything went smoothly with check-in. The cabin is well-appointed.
The owner was fantastic about communicating with me. The cabin was very clean and matched the description and photos that were provided. My family had a wonderful time and hope to make it back again. Highly recommend this cabin.

This cabin house was perfect with the most amazing view of the mountains and creek! The town center is 10-15 minutes away and we tried and loved all the recommended restaurants. We stayed in Packwood specifically to hike Mt Rainier, so we were up before dawn and in bed before the sun set, so our only regret was not being able to spending more time at the house enjoying that little piece of heaven!
Family came in from out of town and wanted to see what the PNW was all about. This place delivered. Family loved it so much, they want to come back next year and stay more days!
We will definitely come back and stay here for our Packwood adventures. View of the river was incredible and located in High Valley (our personal favorite). Host was amazing with communication and you can tell how much love they have put into their home! I highly recommend this property for your adventures.
We were two couples (brothers and spouses) and one young adult (daughter) met in Packwood enroute to to hike from White's Pass to Chinook Pass along the PCT. This property was lovely, relaxing and had plenty of space for all. We wished we could have stayed longer!
Quiet cabin on the river. My wife and I enjoyed an evening at the fire pit listening to the sound of the river flow by. Amazing place to relax after a long day of hiking at Mount Rainier.
It was a pleasure to stay here. Has a fun fire pit outside that the family sat around and roasted s’mores. There’s an indoor wood stove that you can sit around and watch while you’re on the couch. There’s an upstairs loft area that the kid love to explore and play in. Close to Mount Rainier with a beautiful river view in the back.
The cabin had everything we needed and we loved waking up to the river every morning. The cabin is also a short drive away from the Main Street area where we really enjoyed going to the coffee shop and Packwood Brewery. There was plenty of space for the three of us and we were very comfortable! The host is also very communicative and was helpful when we had questions.
We were in town to visit Mt. Rainier NP and this location was absolutely perfect for staying near the Stevens Canyon entrance. Highly recommend!
We had a great experience during our one night stay in the packwood cabin house. The surroudning scenery is mesmerizing. Almost all the amenities were present. Host was very responsive, although it would have been easier if the wifi password information was shared before chek in or written somewhere inside the house
The cabin was beautiful and the host was very friendly and accommodating. My family enjoyed a great stay after a day on white pass. The cabin was better than expected, warm and cozy with all the comfort and accommodations to make a great Christmas dinner.
Absolutely gorgeous! The cabin was clean and welcoming, and the views were spectacular. Check in was easy and the host was super helpful with any questions we had. Calm, quiet neighborhood and the river was absolutely beautiful. Some of the best stargazing I’ve ever done! We had a lovely time!
Through no fault of host -
We were without power for the first hour we were at the property. The tiny little lanterns left on the kitchen counter were woefully inadequate, providing minimal light.
The cabin was extremely cold. But fortunately the host had suggested bringing our own wood for the fireplace.
Luckily we had our own firewood and flashlights.
So relieved when the power was restored!
