When I first walked into Wharf House, one of the only two original buildings of the ancient St Ebbe's parish, my reaction was “This place needs character and soul.” The building was adapted to a pub where Karl Marx used to drink and then changed into a rental property. It was neglected afterwards. The redesign exudes balance of heritage and modernity. Our living room is layered with texture. Iconic Timothy Oulton crystal pendant light welcome our guests at the entrance door, inspired by extravagant styles of English pubs in mid 19th century.
