Loved being next door to 2 shops and right near tram stop and sprinter station. I am a surfer so being able to jump on a train to Zandvoort from round the corner was so handy. Sadly forgot about roof terrace until I was leaving but great way to chill after sightseeing in the evening. The cooking facilities huge money saver. The city tax though was higher than Hotels.com calculated.

The air conditioning was useless even though the temperature outside was quite reasonable. Had to leave teh window open to get the room temperature down to 19c. The staff are generally very helpful. The location is a bit remote, but it is very quiet and an easy walk to the Centraal train station and that area of town.

Clean hotel and room even though it was a little crowded. Neighborhood looks a little dicy, but did not feel unsafe. Steps leading up to door are *very* steep, as are stairs leading to basement room(s). Nice to have code for late check-in. Staffing hours are a little weird, but the person I talked to when they were open was very friendly. Overall it was a nice stay.

Hotel is lovely and a good base for getting around. Hotel reception staff were professional, friendly and gave more good advice for local restaurants/cafes.
The food in the bar was disappointing and our room was not properly cleaned (cups not washed and room service not removed from room).
