Stop at the visitors center first and they will loan you for free binoculars for your tour. Also, ask for the direction of the tour, as the map does not have arrows. We thought we could turn at one point and then take a cross road to get to the back side, but they were one-way roads and we ended up having to exit. We had already been there for 2 hours, so, decided we would be done for the day. Be ready, there is wild-life everywhere.. We saw muskrat, mink, turtles, blue heron, eagles, white egress, swans, and many more!

Plan to take the wildlife drive thru the park, about an hour at 5-6 mph but well worth it.
