Veronica’s Place - Brand new, roomy cottage on the Bras D'Or Lakes

This beautiful cottage has a huge half wrap around deck with a fabulous view of a serene harbour on the Bras D'Or Lakes. A new build, it boasts a south-facing wall of glass overlooking the Bras D'Or. Roomy, with a fully equipped kitchen which is completed with a rock maple topped island. The large bathroom boasts a glass-fronted walk-in shower with a bidet. A Custom-made maple vanity completes the luxury. Separate well-lit bedroom. With this cottage, comes your own lane to the harbour, with a wharf In summer.

Perfect location…beautiful cottage!

My husband and I enjoyed two wonderful weeks at Veronica’s Place. The cottage is beautiful and very well equipped with all the comforts of home. Aileen was so kind to start us off with a bowl of fruit, eggs, milk and many other grocery items on our arrival. She was also very helpful with suggestions of places to visit during our stay. The cottage is centrally located so we were able to easily do day trips. It is such a nice place to come back to and relax at the end of the day. Highly recommend!

Cabot trail tour

Awesome place with great views. Cottage is set up for anyone who may have forgot anything. Well stocked and very clean. We had a great time touring the area and visiting local attractions. Definitely recommend it and will keep it in our list for a return trip down the road.

Cottage with a view

Lovely cottage with an amazing view. The host thought of everything including a well stocked pantry in case you don’t get groceries before you arrive. We really enjoyed our stay here and would certainly recommend it to our family and friends.

Aileen was a wonderful host and her modern cabin has everything you need for a memorable stay exploring Cape Brenton Island. Pub (Fiddle & Folk), cafe (Darby's) and Co-Op supermarket a short drive away.

What a view

The view from the house is exceptional. It's a stand-alone house with a front porch overlooking the water. It's away from the hustle and bustle of tourism which brought peace, calm, and tranquility after a day immersed in the sights and sounds of Cape Breton, the Cabot Trail, and the National Park. Our host Aileen was an added bonus. She is a joy to interact with and helped make our stay more pleasant.

Fantastic Week

We had a fantastic week - Aileen was a great host - her thoughtfulness, hospitality and attention to detail were clear from the moment we arrived! The location along the Bras d'Or Lakes is amazing. The cottage is adorable and immaculate. Lots of local wildlife; geese, beaver, and King Fishers greeted me on my first night. The owner is lovely, and very accommodating. I can't wait to return. A definite 10 out of 10!!

The cabin was beautiful with every possible amenity. The owner was available but provided lots of privacy. The local view is beautiful and quiet. The roads to the cabin are a little rough.

Incredible Easter Weekend

Veronica’s Place is even better than advertised! The cottage is gorgeous and has everything you can possibly need. Aileen is a gem. The property is pristine and it’s so peaceful and serene. I plan to go back in the Fall.

Ein wundervolles kleines Häuschen mit allem Komfort und supergemütlich direkt am Bras d'Or Lake. Aileen ist eine liebenswerte und perfekte Gastgeberin. Wir hatten fünf wundervolle Tage dort, sind viel rumgefahren und haben uns am Abend selbst versorgt und es uns im Häuschen gemütlich gemacht. Thank you very much, Aileen. Wonderful!
