Hotel Tybee

8/10 Good

"Location is perfect. We had a very positive stay. This hotel is supposed to be only for the stay that offers immediate beach access, so it doesn't have any restaurants or food service on property. Our only complaint was that the body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom had all finished and we found out about it too late to inform the staff. They should check on such things before new guests check-in. Otherwise it's a good option to stay in Tybee."

"The hotel itself was fine. Although there is very little space for hanging clothes. My issue is AFTER our stay was over. The $100 dollar deposit was never refunded. I now have several small charges on my credit card statement that shouldn't be there because when we checked out, those were paid. Tried to call the hotel. Constant recordings give you the run around. I booked through Travelocity so all I have is an itinerary number. The hotel apparently doesn't recognize that. Since the trip is over, they are no help. So Kingston Savannah...could someone please contact me so we can resolve this?"

"There was no staff on the property from 10 p.m. at night until 10 AM in the morning. That was a problem, especially when our smoke alarm battery must have gone dead so our smoke alarm beeped all night the last night We were there and then continued to tell us that the battery need to be replaced, but there was no one we could contact. the bathrooms are just OK. The restaurant is fantastic and the front desk person Chris was fabulous. They could use a little cleanup around the property as the sidewalks were in in need of some cleanup. Also, it was very noisy on the street and we could not open the windows at all for any fresh air. The air condition was so loud that it kept us awake and we had to turn it off."
