"Beautiful hotel with modern aesthetic and impeccable service. The onsens (both the general one and the private balcony one) are amazing. Excellent breakfast with western and Japanese food and some fun automations (fresh squeezed self serve OJ machine and automatic pancake machine). View of ocean and small Atami beach out front. Short walking distance to shopping district in Atami, which is smallish. Some construction next door when we went but didn't hear anything - very quiet and peaceful. No self-laundry facilities FYI. We walked from Atami station to the hotel (thankfully downhill but rather steep portions) but definitely needed the complimentary taxi ride back to the train station given the steepness of the location."

"Excellent location next door to all transport. Free small breakfast to get you going . Good information from staff and big screen information on all places to see. Good bars near by and lots of choice to eat. Would definitely recommend "

"Arrived early and was able to store luggage until check in time. Check in process was through a automated terminal with staff available to guide you through the process. Nice clean functional room with comfortable bed. Breakfast was included. Hotel is about 3 blocks from train station where there were restaurants."

"Great place for families visiting Shimoda and Izu Peninsula. Definitely a hotel catering to Japanese tourists, but with a little Japanese and respect the staff is very friendly and works with you. Some of the staff spoke some English. Bathhouse, arcade, and hotel amenities were great. Walking distance to everything downtown and easy spot to drive to other locations. Would definitely stay here again with family on vacation. "

"The service was great, and the tub on the balcony was nice as a couple to enjoy the onsen experience in a private setup. The dinner was very nice especially with mostly local sake match. The onsen water quality was great. Don’t take stairs :) "
