"Rooms were ok, beds not super comfortable but lockers quite big - some of them weren’t working tho. Breakfast was awesome, buffet style with lots to choose from. The ladies running the breakfast and cleaning is lovely, so sweet and trying their best to communicate through google translate. "Gorgeous hotel with amazing views. The reception staff was exceptional!! They were helpful with all our requests!! The rooms were great. I just got the classic room but I had friends that got upgrades. I highly recommend the room with jacuzzi!! They were so kind to heat it for us every night before our arrival. The hotel is centrally located to so many restaurants bars and shopping!! No doubt I would stay here again."

"Abracadabra is located in a safe/convenient location with stunning views over Buzios main bay. Our room was modern and very comfortable with a balcony. Mistico restaurant is a must - the food is delicious and the staff so friendly/professional. The infinity pool is adequate in size and the loungers extremely comfortable. The only disappointment was the noise from 2 night clubs located beneath Abracadabra (music started at 10;00 and went on until 5:00 am over Corpus Christi weekend)."

Own Buzios Beach Hotel

"We had a very mixed experience at Own Búzios. While the staff was initially very kind and the location is excellent conveniently across from a grocery store and easy to get around the room and maintenance issues were disappointing. We were first checked into a room with a shared bathroom despite booking a Premium Double. Once rectified, the second room had a broken AC. We eventually landed in a third room that felt quite run-down with stained sheets. The garden was poorly maintained, with high weeds and even mushrooms growing on the porch. The main positives were the very comfortable bed, a nice pool area for a post-beach swim, and the friendly initial welcome. However, these were overshadowed by a lack of property maintenance and a repetitive breakfast that seemed recycled over our four-day stay. Another down side m was the checkout experience where we were presented with an open bar tab. It felt like they tried to charge us for our "complimentary" welcome drinks, and the staff seemed irritated when we disputed it. Next time, I’ll likely try one of the nearby pousadas instead."

"Nice clean spacious property with great views and very quiet area. Easy enough to walk to town center 10-15 min. Nice pool area and staff were very friendly and helpful. Always responded quickly to any queries. Be aware that if you have mobility issues there are lots of stairs to get to the hotel and rooms."
