"Out side is not beautiful but the inside is magnificent... My husband has back issues and the hot tub did wonders for his pain . If we could have figured out how to get the king bed out we would have become a thief. We are both 70 and had never slept in such a more comfortable bed.ditto for the grand daughter and her friend that slept in the queen bed. My husband and I thought we missed pinball from the old days buy that bed over ran. Everything. It was worth it to see the girls faces about some jukebox songs. We were lucky to have 2 beautiful days and 2 rainy. On the rainy days we learned a lot about the girls, they were glad to stay in and hang out with us. The girls actually made the best chicken Alfredo for supper and a chocolate peanut butter frozen dessert. Both girls are going back to school for their 3rd semesters and looking forward to it. I was a bit surprised both girl wants to do the same for next year. Almost forgot the girls made s'mores and hand fed them to me and Grandpa. What wonderful memories for us all. Assuming Grandpa and I stay healthy we are all for this. Thank you Todd for letting us rent your extra house. God bless you.."

"Our family getaway to Russell’s Roost truly could not have been a better experience. The camper was clean and had all that we needed. The host went out of his way to personally escort us to the boat launch, get kayaks ready for the kids to use, and set out outdoor yard games for our family. He even sold us wood onsite and helped us put the bed down in the camper (we were first time camper users!). Fantastic experience, we look forward to booking again next summer!"

"We enjoyed the house, it was roomy and pretty clean. I would suggest that housekeeping uses unscented soaps and dryer sheets when washing sheets & towels. I am highly sensitive to scents and had a hard time however I brought my own sheets and even though I used my own sheets the scent was still there probably from the mattress cover. The towels were just as bad. Also, the listing should state no swimming at the property. I would not have known that if I hadn’t sent a text to the owner regarding something else and was warned that swimming was not allowed. "

"Great House Great Lake! Can't speak higher of this house. Everything was as posted and the view & lake exceeded expectations. All the amenities you would need for a great stay on the lake.
