"We had a really lovely overnight stay at the Grand by SkyCity. Our room was comfortable, quiet and had a great view, and we were very kindly upgraded, which was such a fabulous surprise. The amenities were amazing, and we made the most of the fantastic gym and sauna. We also enjoyed some time at the casino and had dinner at The Grill, where the food was absolutely delicious. There was a little bit of wear and tear showing in some of the room’s decor and furniture, so a few touch-ups would help keep the room looking as lovely as the rest of the hotel. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed our time here. We will definitely be back!"

"It looked and felt like we were on a cruise liner. Beautiful views from our balcony. Excellent staff. Nothing was too much trouble. We ate out for a couple of dinners but then ate at the hotel, and then did that every night thereafter - the food was wonderful"

"Staff was helpful when we raised an issue on our bedroom musty smell and was giving me light headache after two days, they arranged to move us to their newly renovated room. The new room was great. The breakfast was very nice. Good food selection and helpful staff."
