"Parking was easy and secure. Staff were friendly enough and no issues with check in or out. My only grievance was the smell of the room when we got there. I’m not one to usually complain of smells, but the smell was maybe the cleaner used. Smelled musty and of ammonia. It was so bad I got a headache the moment I walked in the room at 9pm, so not right after normal cleaning times. We had a window we could open and we propped the hall door open to air the room some. Walked down the hall to see if it was just our room, but it smelled like that throughout the halls. I have only had this issue with the smell of the room at a lower budget hotel. I thought with the price we paid, we wouldn’t run into that issue! I would suggest another hotel if you have known sensitivities to smells. Otherwise, no complaints. "

"Just a quick overnight. Facilities were average. Mattress was past its prime and sink lighting was poor. Did not use amenities or have breakfast. "

"We had a great stay exploring the Chechessee River area, Beaufort, Port Royal, and the state park beaches. We really enjoyed the view of the water and sunrises over the marsh. The home has plenty of room and a well-stocked kitchen."

"Well stocked house. Extra coffee, cleaning supplies. Enjoyable scenery. Not far from restuarants and grocery stores. Hosts were proactve and responsive. Suggest sunset pizza for reasonable priced food"
