"We as a family of 5 + a 3 yr old spent a delightful week at Penuwch Fach in July/August 2024. We were attending an interment and celebration of life nearby so the location was perfect. "A great hotel, in a great location on the sea front. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Our room was on the third floor ( no lift) and was modern very clean and with a comfortable bed. There is a popular bar selling a wide range of beer and drinks. We had lunch which was also very good. We enjoyed the breakfast. To be highly recommended."

"Toilet bowl had small bits of excrement on it and the condition of the PROM room in my opinion was very tired in need of painting and the carpet replaced. When I phoned the owner he couldn’t come to see as he wasn’t available and completely refused to offer any refund or support . He wasn’t very professional when he swore at me and just hung up so we decided to leave and travel home so I can’t comment on the restaurant or anything else"

"The room was clean, good sized and comfortable. Some of the fittings and fixtures showed signs of wear, nothing of major issue. Good shower and nice having quality coffee bag. Breakfast was fairly basic (only had continetal) but fine, only disappointment was the coffee option was instant and a boiler to help yourself! "

"Our room is on the 2nd floor with a lovely sea view. Room was spotless and had been revamped since we last stayed in this room. The hotel looks lovely and refreshed all through. The staff are always helpful , friendly and on hand fir anything you need. Breakfast is plentiful and very enjoyable, along with the barstaff. We have been staying here for 8 years now. I think its well situated for a peaceful break, but local to all you need and it also has parking and electric charging here now. "
