"We enjoyed a family visit! Fished but it was super hot so fishing wasn't great but that's ok. We grilled and sat around and visited alot and relaxed. There are corn hole boards but again, the heat drove us to the porch for an adult beverage. There are also new kayaks - bring your own life vest! Be aware there are no ceiling fans on the outdoor porch but there is a large shop fan."

"Rooms was clean and very spacious, bed very comfy. Breakfast was good. There were a couple weird things. We had a pull out soda room and reserved for 4 people but still had to ask for bed linens. They brought them, but I feel like they should’ve already just been in the bedroom. Also, the attendant at breakfast would be gone for a long periods of time and so it was difficult to get things refilled as they ran out."

"Very enjoyable and the grandkids loved it. My grandson said he was in heaven lol. Authentic and peaceful. The only complaint I have is it needed some deep cleaning. Wish it would have been cooler so we could have played some games on the back deck. Sounds like we need a Fall trip."
