「The staff was friendly and the stay was very comfortable.」

「No better place. Great food, great service, great ambience.」

「Great place to stay. Very clean staff were great. Only negative was that wifi was out for our 2 night stay. Great breakfast and pool was very nice. A wee bit out of the way, no shops or restaurants nearby, but very quiet and relaxing.」

「This is an amazing property run by amazing and friendly staff. The rooms themselves are unusual and special in design, with an outside (but private) bathroom which is unlike anything else. The pool is nice and the area is surrounded by trees where monkeys jump around and entertain you, but we had no issues with them as they are the shy kind! Would definitely recommend and is great for visits to Galle and Dakata beach which is excellent for surfing. 」

「Very nice to stay! Highly recommend.」

「I loved my stay at The Prince of Galle. The hotel was well-located down a fairly quiet street, near some cute cats, and a 30 second walk to Galle’s spectacular sunset. As a woman travelling alone, I felt very safe and looked after by the exceptional team who couldn’t do more to help. This hotel (and their cinnamon French toast) was one of my highlights in my trip to Sri Lanka.」

「Friendly and happy staff in all areas which says a lot about how the hotel is run. Had my room unexpectedly upgraded on arrival due to a fault found with the originally booked room. The room I had did have a small issue with the private jacuzzi leaking but no major issues. Food and drink were excellent throughout my stay. Highly recommend staying here to anybody wanting a few days of relaxing peace after touring the country.」
