10/10 Excellent

On a recent family trip to Japan, we stopped in Gifu to see the cormorant fishing (a fascinating and enjoyable experience), and had the good fortune to spend a night at the Juhachiro. It was a fantastic experience. The location was great -- an easy bus ride from the train station, right at the dock where the fishing and spectator boats leave from, in an area of town with a number of interesting traditional shops and restaurants.
