"When we arrived at William's property we were so happy that we had booked it. It was absolutely perfect for our family. Plenty of space, close to the beach and strip of Bondi, bus in both directions outside and a Nespresso Machine. The communication from William before and during our stay was really appreciated and he was making sure we had everything we needed. The property was nice and spacious for us with a nice big washing machine and plenty of drying space. We cooked breakfast each morning...

"As a family from the country visiting Sydney for the first time, the 3 bedroom terrace added an extra charm of experiencing life in the city. Location was perfect with a easy walk to public transport. Very little road noise. The local pub down the road offered an easy solution for a quick meal when tired from sightseeing. Only downside, the neighbor next door with their very squeaky gate."

"I arrived to my booking for my self and my husband and daughters and pets for a funeral upon arrival with just my daughters and pets partner still on his way and the house was a 5 bedroom so called able to buy a booking to enjoy like a hotel and there was broken down cars everywhere on the driveway parts like a junk yard and OLD bus rusted down I went to just knock because of the confusion as I couldn’t park at this property I thought It’s someone’s house not a house to holiday home in and went...

"We loved our mini break at House on a Rock - the house is lovely, the location incredible - amazing views of this beautiful part of the world. The location does mean access is tricky - challenging when you arrive with luggage and provisions for your stay. Not such an issue for us and the kids but it was not the easiest for my 85 year old Mother!! We all agree - House on a Rock was worth the effort. All in all - this is a special place and we hope to return."

The property is located on Military Road which is busy and not quiet. At the time of this writing, Feb 2024, the wall leading up to the property is graffitied. "The place was great, clean, and in an awesome neighbourhood. The hosts got back to me quickly and we had a lovely time. There are plenty of coffee shops and bars near by. Only thing I would mention is that the main floor bathroom is a bit of a "Harry Potter" closet - didn't give us any problems but something to note! Parking on the street can be tricky... but that's Sydney!"
