It was a small cozy room. Perfect for a couple. You can see the ocean from the front porch. The manager was very welcoming and friendly. We had a great time.

This is a small place rooms are not to big but they have the necessary to have a good stay. The price was fair for the place. Is only on block to the boardwalk, what we love the most! To get access to parking you need to pay $15 a night. The guy at the reception Hector was so helpful and nice always attentive for whatever we needed

Was a bit weary booking this hotel for a last minute trip but was pleasantly surprised! Cute little house looking hotel. Staff was extremely friendly, room was located right on the first floor. The room felt like staying in your grandmothers house. Small room but felt very clean the entire stay. Bed was comfortable and Roku on the tv. Bathroom was extremely small but worked as needed. You can definitely tell the owners try to make it as comfortable as possible for guests. Perfect location ! Would stay again.

Surprisingly good

I normally stay at budget hotels and get what I pay for. The Surf, actually, offered more that I expected. An ampke room (clean and neat), featuring a comfortable bed. The bathroom was quite small, but fitted the intended purpose. Overall, I recommend it, unless you are looking for luxury.

Cute vintage hotel near the boardwalk. Of course not as comfortable as the big hotels but that’s the nature of these types of accommodations. Staff was friendly and tried to please

Wasn’t a bad stay, staff was nice and the place wasn’t very far from beach. Although it would be nice if the shower had better pressure and if there was more airflow for the bathroom.

This place is great and the guy at the front desk was nice and accommodating. Room is clean, beds are big. Bathroom is just small so if you can’t handle that I wouldn’t suggest this place but other than that it was great I would definitely stay here again.

We only stayed one night but we enjoyed it. Easy check in, bed was on the firmer side but that's how I like my bed, the parking lot is small but we were able to get a spot. You can't have high standards when you're getting a place at a low price compared to other places so we were satisfied with our stay.

Basic small room with a bed, chair, nightstand, mini fridge, TV, & bathroom. The whole building reeked of mothballs so that threw us off. The bed was uncomfortable & the air conditioner in the room was so dirty that it wasn’t even blowing cold air so our room was muggy and uncomfortable for sleep. On the plus side, we were close to the beach and the boardwalk.

Simple, straightforward rooms. The shower gets super hot and it’s fairly quiet in the building. The room is kinda small, though. The staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful.

Yes. The rooms are small. They are also very clean!! Have chatted with the owner a few times and you stay here because the customer service is exceptional. It’s my personal hidden gem in this city.

The owner, I assume is a very nice person. The property in my opinion needs to be updated and manicured. The rooms def needs updating, the ceiling in my room needs to be re-done by a professional as you can see the masking tape and primer paint. The TV is too far from the bed, overall, the the rooms need to be redone. The area is nice and quiet, no receptionist after 10pm, only cameras, the front porch should be re-done also as the railings looks like it's been repainted repeatly before sanding and repairing. Replace the porch rug. Maybe in the mornings a very light breakfast to go with the coffee? Get rid of the vending machine and replace it. I hope to go back there next year.

Decent place, would probably stay again, clean.

The room was clean, bathroom was clean as well. No weird smells, the lobby actually smelled very good like it had been cleaned recently. The man at the front desk was very friendly and professional, and answered all of my questions when I called on two separate occasions before the trip. It was pretty bare bones, the desk was wobbly, the floor was uneven, and it was pretty dated inside the room as well as in the common areas. No real complaints other than the wall, being a little bit thin and hearing other guests. Overall, we’d probably stay here again, the location was really convenient. Parking was $15 a day, and you really can’t beat the location. There was free coffee in the lobby as well as a vending machine for soda, which was convenient. Was it the best day I’ve ever had anywhere? No. But my girlfriend and I were happy with it overall. Would’ve given it a higher rating, but two of the outlets in our room didn’t work, which was slightly inconvenient.

I'm glad I made the right choice by choosing Surf Villa Hotel. It's a quaint & cute B&B- like with a very hospitable, warm, courteous and helpful owner who goes the extra mile to ensure all the guests receive the best service during their stay. You can walk to the boardwalk and the beach from this property in less than 3 mins. The reasonably priced room itself are very well maintained and clean. I will definitely return here!!! To the owner of Surf Villa Hotel; Thank you for making my visit to Ocean City,MD so memorable. God bless.

The staff was very friendly. However, the motel is dated. The room was not clean. The bathroom was dirty, the bed was uncomfortable. Th sheets wasn't clean and th pillow had stains on it. I would never stay here again

This hotel is a house that has been converted into a number of individual rooms. The room I had was tiny but clean. Check in was fast and the manager was polite. The location is great-just across a not busy street from the beach. It is very loud though-walls are thin and since many rooms are entered from the outside, there is a LOT of noise from people talking, doors banging, etc. For one night it's fine but you wouldn't stay for much longer than that.
