A hotel set in beautiful surroundings. The staff were very friendly and welcoming to us and the dog. The room was a good size and had a balcony with a hammock and lake view.
The breakfast was good, with freshly cooked eggs.
The food in the evening was a bit limited; only one choice of a main meal but there were numerous bar snacks and sharing platters.
Not really a problem though, as there was a restaurant 5 minutes walk down the road.
In all a very enjoyable stay

Difficult to grade as we arrived quite late and left early. The issue we had was that messages were not being delivered regarding check-in from the hotel. There is a note on the Expedia system that says "staff may not be available and check-in codes will be provided". We never received such codes and as such panicked calls were needed by us to Expedia on the day of arrival. They couldn't get in touch with anyone here and we were left wondering what might happen. Finally we spoke to someone who assured us someone would be there to help when we arrived at around 8pm. From then on it was fine, although the door key didn't work initially. Staff that greeted us were pleasant.

"The fact that dogs are allowed was crucial for us. A water and food bowl set and a dog bed had been placed in the room before we arr. Staff members were very helpful and pleasant. All front desk staff could speak English, which made things much easier for us, as we just moved to Vigo and know little ..."
