We loved the fact the hotel was next to a lovely and clean stretch of beach. Lovely to paddle and swim in for families. Sauna facilities were not bad, even if it was a bit basic. The grounds were quiet, green and peaceful to relax in. The summer buffet offered a lovely selection of hot and cold dishes. Breakfast was perfunctory.

Good for 1 night stay

Beautiful location and enough space for free parking. Huge hotel with conference rooms. The room we had was basic and small and does not have airco. This made the room a little too hot for a comfortable night sleep. Bathroom is small. Breakfast was nice and tasty. Hotel is next to the water. Staff is helpful and nice.

Nice stay

The hotel is located right next to the ocean, 10 minutes walk to the train station, 20 minutes walk to town. It is a huge complex that can host several conferences each day. The room is very basic but clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is excellent. You need to make reservation early, otherwise the next restaurant might be 20 minutes to town. The hotel has a very nice fitness center with a swimming pool, sauna rooms etc I enjoyed very much. You can rent a bike for free from the hotel right to town or outside like a local. Nyborg is a very small but Beautiful and quiet town. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Great free breakfast spread. Free bike rentals as well. The use of the spa for free was also great. Maybe this is common in Denmark, but nobody told us we had to bring our own towels down. There are none in there. The cleanliness was not as good as I had wanted. You could tell the room was rush cleaned. Especially the bathroom. But it wasn’t so gross that I asked to switch rooms. Just not sparkling as other hotels we started at during this trip.
The free bike rentals we took advantage of and rode up and down the coast right across from the hotel.

Too busy with conferences

Had an overnight stay at this hotel with family of 4. Booked a last minute room (90 minutes upfront). Room was not prepared and in fact not the one requested (asked bunk bed, got sleep couch). So I had to go ask for additional pillows, blankets, etc. After 30 min, an extra bed, pillows and covers arrived. But too small for my kids. Given it was already quite late by now, we got creative and made do with what we had. Sleeping couch was very very uncomfortable, did not get much sleep at all. Overall room was basic, ok on first glance, but not really very clean. Dust, spiderwebs. Bedding was anti-allergic, but i doubt the sleeping couch was. At least, that was what my sinuses told me. Breakfast was good, you can sit outside with view on beach but … very busy road. Spa is open to children only after 11am. Overall, stay was mediocre. We stayed at the signature hotel down the road a few years earlier and that was so much better!. There were a few major conferences the next day, sobinam guessing that was the reason the room was not prepared. Still not an excuse. Would not stay here again. Children (6) were also very disappointed .

Needed a room for the night while passing, and it was excellent. Hotel is big and looks well managed and maintained. Great service from all staff.
