"Beautiful place!"

"Our family stayed in this cottage for one week in July and another week at the end of August. We enjoyed both stays! The first week coincided with a heat wave. We missed having air conditioning, but we were grateful for the many ceiling fans. Everything was as expected. The only surprise was that the bedroom with twin beds, living room, and second bathroom are all on the lower level. Just something to be aware of if you're traveling with kids. It also meant not being able to use the living room area in the evenings, since it was directly beside the kids' bedroom. The close proximity to the Bowman forest was nice. We explored the trails a few times and got nice views of the lake. Unfortunately, there is no public swimming access on Lac Escalier, so we drove 25 min to Air, Eau, Bois park to take the kids to the beach. We also discovered a great playground and splash pad in Val-des-Bois."

"We booked for a family getaway weekend. Nice individual bedrooms. Make use of the washing/drying machines. The shower is way too nice for a cottage lol. The kitchen is equipped with everything that we need. Bonuses with games and binoculars in the leaving room. Nice quiet lake with some many available different types of water "vehicles" made it fun for us! Highly recommended and we're looking to go back next summer for sure. "

"We had a great time at this property, right on the lake with a multitude of things to do. Caught lots of fish, had a great time hiking and enjoyed nature. When we needed to contact the host we got a quick response. Had the exact experience we were looking for. "

"Great little cottage. Comfortably fits 6 people. Everything you need is already there. The view is amazing. Very good fishing lake with many fish species. If you bring a boat, the ramp and dock are right there in front of the cottage."

"Outside of the weather not completely cooperating, we really enjoyed our stay. Lots to do, and the private dock/beach was fantastic!"

"We had an amazing week!! The property is beautiful!! The only negative was that we had no cleaning spray? Also no oils sugar or spices to cook with. We were missing a measuring cup and measuring spoons to do any kind of baking. I ended up driving to mount laurier to buy because I love baking ❤️ This was the only negative! Other then that we had an amazing time! We got a lot of use out of the two kayaks provided. The water was amazing 🤩 we even caught a few fish 🐟 Thankyou so much for letting us stay we hope to return one day! "

"Absolutely lovely spot for a peaceful and picturesque getaway. Beautiful view of the lake from a stunning and cozy deck. The cottage was very comfortable, clean and provided everything required. Definitely planning another weeeknd back!"
