"First and foremost - we had a lovely stay. The house is warm and clean and has all you need. The small town is very picturesque, and the pool is an easy walk and fun for hours. You'll see/read that the house is hard to find, and it is, but it helps to know that the name "Grund- I" is over the door and Fagrohvill is on the side of the house facing the street. "Great apartment! Centrally located on the main drag in Akuryeri and right next to this fabulous cafe called Berlin! The flat itself was spacious yet cozy, and after traveling for a few days it was a nice place to relax and watch movies while it snowed outside. The beds and linens were very comfortable, and there was off-street parking in a private lot. Would definitely book again! Wish we stayed longer than 1 night!"

"We are two couples traveling together in Iceland on the Ring Road. We absolutely loved this hotel. One of us was reminded of the old hotels in England he stayed in. The room was comfortable and clean. We loved the spa on the patio and we ate at the restaurant in the hotel and had a great meal. They even had a vegan option (one of us is vegan) made with vegetables from Icelandic greenhouses. The beds were comfortable and it was a quiet area. Staff were very friendly. Highly recommend."
