This is a very cool hotel!! We absolutely loved our family room which consisted of two interconnected rooms! The decor and layout was perfect and we slept very well!! We also appreciated them accomodating our large and tall car in the front car park. Only negatives were that the restaurant was closed so no food onsite but the lovely guy on reception booked us a table at Chez Carlo (a pizza place nearby). The pool is also in a building next door and has lots of rules about costumes men wear and everyone has to wear hats so we decided to leave as it was very restrictive! Points to note: The hotel is AMAZING!! Just wish we could have stayed in and had dinner in the restuarant as the area was a little sketchy and we were approached several times by people begging.

We Only need coffee and a croissant for breakfast When we told the restaurant hostess she told as we couldn’t sit in the breakfast room but only in the non air conditioned empty salon We were made to feel like 2nd class citizens We declined her offer and had our breakfast in a cool reception area Hotel Perfectly placed

The hotel has an excellent location, I cannot think of any better one. The staff were very friendly and helpful, went out of their way to book a table for me at a highly recommended bouchon on a Saturday night when it was extremely busy. Also helped with other advice that I sought. The hotel is very nice and very clean. The room was spacious, bright, clean and pleasant to stay in even during the day, not only for spending the night. However, I found the bed too soft and since I suffer with lower back pain, with each night I was struggling more and more with the back pain. I am not sure if the Hotel would have done something about it if I had mentioned it to them, but I did not. And, secondly, I stayed there during the heatwave when it was necessary to run the air-conditioning unit in the room day and night. The hum of the fan, even though not loud, interfered with my sleep at night. Would I recommend the Hotel to my friends and family? Yes, definitely, but with the above two caveats. Would I stay again in the Hotel? Yes, but not during the heatwave and if I could discuss the need for much firmer bed with the Hotel management.
