The Crooked House had everything thoughtfully considered for the comfort of the guests - from the welcome package in the fridge to just how well equipped the property was. That it was so close to the beach and the water slide was such a plus for my kid. We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful town, mostly because of our comfortable stay and hope to return!"

"This was a great place to stay as it is midway for members of the family. The four bedrooms and two bathrooms was a big factor for us. The VRBO is close to everything we wanted to see and do in Sudbury. The house is well equipped with dishware and cutlery, linens etc. The dishwasher, while being small worked well for the 7 of us ( and it was quiet) . The hot tub was an added touch and I could see that without the snow, the outdoor spaces ( from and back ) would allow for quality visiting time....

"A wonderful place to stay. A home away from home. Very friendly. Wonderful, clean and spacious. Loved the kitchen with all the pots, pans, stove, microwave and enough plates and cups. Washer, dryer and dishwasher. We only missed a clothes rack to hang up the laundry we did not want in the dryer. Outside lounge set, bbq and fire pit. The bathroom was clean. Loved the interior design. Close to the shops and restaurants. 30 minutes away from Algonquin park. We really enjoyed our stay! Next time...

"John was very communicative throughout our stay. He left us a welcome package that included helpful details about the cottage. The place was fully-equipped with kitchen supplies, which was great because we liked to cook. We especially loved the espresso machine! The place was just as advertised, except that it didn’t include basic soap and shampoo and a couple of us packed light and forgot to bring. It was much more spacious than we thought and we ended up not using the basement. We were 8...

"Had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Hidden Haven! The cottage was clean, cozy and warm when we opened the front door! So inviting and comfortable! We used the pizza oven outside and made the most glorious pizza pies! The instructions provided in the package were perfect! A great place to stay, especially during the ski season.. literally steps from the lift! That wasn’t the purpose of our visit, but the walk down to the water was really nice. There’s villas right across the street, but...

"House was able to fit two families very comfortably. It is an older place with lots of character and some new renovations. A close walk to the main street of Hurstville if a plus and makes it easy meals and shopping. we did have one issue with the place but the host was very quick to resolve the problem."

"This cottage is a gem! The cottage is well laid out (inside and out) and offered everything we could need for a comfortable stay. Our host was very attentive and quick to respond when needed. The water is lovely and the kids had a great time. You may hear the train a time or two during your stay, but otherwise a very quiet area. Hot tub was wonderful. Will definitely stay again."

"Cottages have everything you need and are functional. Some bathroom updates would be appealing but overall was clean and everything worked. Not a luxury resort but a reasonably priced and convenient location. Owners were very accommodating to reauests and the trails are a nice bonus."
